Travelling from the San Jose Airport to Nosara Beach?

By Car:

The first step to reach the North Pacific is to follow the “Autopista del Sol” (Highway 27) up to Caldera and from there follow the signs to Liberia which will lead you on the road called “Interamericana Norte”. Take the “Puente de la Amistad de Taiwan” or Tempisque Bridge which can be reached by following the signs to Liberia from Caldera and by turning left at the Shell Gas Station located after the entrance to a town called Las Juntas, at the turn you’ll see several signs. Follow the signs to Nicoya, through the Tempisque Bridge and turn left once you reach Nicoya. Go across the city in a straight line and continue following signs to Nosara. When you reach the gas station before Samara, you must take the right to a dirt road with signs pointing to Nosara. Continue for approximately 40 minutes until you start seeing signs to Playa Guiones.) and Liberia (LIR) are offered daily by NatureAir, and every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday by Sansa Airline.
