YOGA KIDS NATURE CAMP encourages relaxation, coordination and flexibility, which can improve school performance and behavior. Availability at these camps is usually limited, due to a preference for small groups, so apply early. Yoga Kids Nature Camps goes to great lengths to create a nurturing, nonjudgmental and noncompetitive atmosphere, so that kids can feel comfortable trying new poses and using their creativity. Other activities such as meditation, making nature crafts and walks in Nature are included to mix up the day’s events and keep kids entertained and distraction-free. Healthy, organic snacks are usually offered during breaks to keep with the theme of health and well-being. Safety: Yoga is a form of exercise and relaxation that’s safe for both boys and girls of any age. The idea of yoga is not to overexert yourself in any pose, so injuries are not common.
